✔How to Check if Disk is MBR or GPT in Windows 10
Go to Computer Management
Right-click on This PC
Go to Manage
Select Disk Management
Right-click on the hard drive, that you want to check if it is mbr or gpt
Go to properties
And select the Volumes tab
Here you can find hard drive partition style type: MBR or GPT
In this example, the Disk O partition style type is GPT (GUID Partition Table)
and, the Disk 1 partition style type is MBR (Master boot record)

🌶Be aware that by using this method to convert MBR to GPT, you will lose all hard disk data
Type cmd in Windows 10 search box
And run Windows command prompt as administrator
✅Convert MBR to GPT during Windows installation
If you cannot access your operating system
And need to change mbr to gpt during Windows installation
You can open the Windows command prompt, by pressing Shift + F10
If Shift + F10 doesn't work, Go to Next, Repair your computer

All Windows commands are the same with OS and without OS:
📢Hit Enter after each line
Type: ↪ diskpart ↩ Opens diskpart
Type: ↪ list disk ↩ Lists all hard drives
Type: ↪ select disk #? ↩ Select the hard drive, which you going to convert from MBR to GPT
Type: ↪ clean ↩ This command removes all partitions and data of the disk
Type: ↪ convert gpt ↩ Converts MBR to GPT
Done, you must get the message that diskpart successfully converted the selected disk from mbr to gpt
✅Create a disk partition to make it useful, using Windows 10 command prompt (cmd)
Hit Enter after each line
Type: ↪ diskpart ↩
Type: ↪ list disk ↩
Type: ↪ select disk #? ↩
Type: ↪ create partition primary ↩
Type: ↪ list partition ↩
Type: ↪ select partition #? ↩
Type: ↪ active ↩ if MBR, if it is GPT just continue
Type: ↪ format fs=ntfs quick ↩
Type: ↪ assign letter=H: ↩
Type: ↪ list partition ↩
Type: ↪ list volume ↩
✅Create a disk partition to make it useful, using Computer Management
Go to Computer Management
Right-click on This PC
Go to Manage
Select Disk Management
Right-click on the disk, Select a new simple volume
Click Next, you can choose the partition size, or you can shrink the partition after
You can assign custom letter as well
Leave all other options by default
And click finish to create a disk partition
